A logo is…to put it simply, an identification. You want others to remember your company name and the things you do more than anything else. However, a good simple logo that is easily associated to your company and your trade will definitely give you the extra edge. Associating your logo colours with your branding is of course crucial. A good logo is should be distinct, appropriate, practical, graphic and simple. An over the top logo will only be confusing and at times forgettable. It must be able to convey the owner’s intended message. A concept or “meaning” is usually behind an effective logo, and it communicates the purpose of the company. A logo design should be able to be printed at any size and, in most cases, be effective in grayscale. At the end of the day, your logo must speak the following : great concept and great execution.
